gal: enerzijds onregelmatige, bovenzijdige, gelige bultjes, 1-2 mm hoog, hol aan de onderzijde. Maar de mijt kan ook onderzijdig, roestkleurige erinea veroorzaken, vooral langs de hoofdnerven van de blaadjes; ze bestaan uit meercellige, soms spitse, soms stompe haren.

gall: At one side, epiphyllous, irregular, yellowish pustules, 1-2 mm high, hollow below. But the mite can also induce hypophyllous, rust-coloured erinea, mainly along the midrib of the leaflets; they consist of multicellular, either blunt or acute hairs.
