gal: Soorten van het geslacht Endophyllum hebben niet vier, maar slechts twee sporenstadia: spermogonia en aecia. De spermogonia zijn geel, klein, verspreid tussen de telia. De aecia zijn onderzijdig en talrijk; ze hebben de structuur van grotendeels in het bladweefsel ingezonken blaasjes, die zich bij rijpheid bekervormig openen.

gall: Fungi of the genus Endophyllum do not have the usual four sporetypes, but only spermogonia and aecia. The spermogonia are small, yellow, lying scattered among the aecia. The hypophyllous, numerous aecia are small globules, for a large part sunken into the leaf tissue, once mature opening cup-like.
