Abies alba, amabilis, cephalonica.
gal: uredinia onderzijdig, puistvormig, geel, met een halfbol peridium; sporen kort knotsvormig, verwijderd bestekeld, op een korte plompe steel. Vanaf augustus geven de uredinia bij vochtig weer een witte sporenmassa af. Telia op de onderzijde van bruine delen van het overwinterde blad. De sporen worden gevormd in de epidermis-cellen; ze zijn onregelmatig van vorm, dunwandig, 1 tot 70-cellig.
gall: uredinia hypophyllous, pustulate, yellow, with a semiglobular peridium; spores short clubshaped, remotely spinulose, on a short, plump pedicel. From August on, during damp weather, the uredinia release a white mass of spores. Telia at the underside of brown parts of the hibernated fronds. The spores are formed in the epidermis cells; they are irregular in shape, thin-walled, and are composed of 1-70 cells.
