gal: Geen waardwisseling; uitsluitend telia. Deze bruin, aan de bladstelen en (onderzijdig) aan de bladeren op verkleurde en vergalde plekken. Sporen tweecellig, op korte, afbrekende stelen. De kiempore van de onderste cel ligt gewoonlijk in het bovenste deel van de cel (in tegenstelling tot bij P. angelicae), waar dat andersom is.
gall: No host plant alternation; telia only. These brown, on the petioles and (the underside of) the leaves on discoloured and galled spots. Spores two-celled, on short, deciduous pedicels. The germination pore of the lower cell usually is located in the upper half of the cell (contrary to P. angelicae, where it is the other way).
