gal: Geen waardwisseling, alleen telia. Telia meestal onderzijdig, < 1 mm, poederig, donkerbruin. Teliosporen tweecellig, spoelvormig, wand gelijkmatig dik, geelbruin; beide cellen met een hoge papil bovenop de kiempore, die van de topcel, die van de basale cel tegen de tussenwand aan; steel kleurloos, snel afbrekend.
gall: No host plant alternation, only telia. Telia mostly hypophyllous, < 1 mm, pulverulent, dark brown. Teliospores two-celled, fusiform, wall uniformly thick, yellowish brown; both cells with a high papilla on top of the germination pore, the one of the top cel apical, that of the basal cell touching the separation wall; pedicel colourless, deciduous.
