gal: Geen waardwisseling, alleen uredinia en telia. Uredinia onderzijdig, niet op bladvlekken, nog geen halve mm groot, kaneelkleurig; sporen 20-27 x 24-35 µm, met 3 kiemporen. Telia als de uredinia, maar zwart, poederig. Teliosporem 22-34 x 32-50 µm, wand dik met een onregelmatige net-structuur; steel hyalien, afbrekend.

gall: No host plant alternation, only uredinia and telia. Uredinia hypophyllous, not on spots, less than half a mm, cinnamon coloured; spores 20-27 x 24-35 µm, with 3 germination pores. Telia like the uredinia, but black, pulverulent. Teliospores 22-34 x 32-50 µm, wall thick, irregularly reticulate; pedicel hyaline, deciduous.
