gal: Geen waardwisseling. Spermogonia beiderzijdig, conisch. Aecia oranjegeel, vooral onderzijdig, verspreid over het hele, ietwat vergalde, blad; peridium wit. Uredinia ontbreken. Telia verspreid over de plant, 0.5 mm, zwartbruin, spoedig naakt. Teliosporen tweecellig, breed elliptisch, wand glad en gelijkmatig dun, steel kleurloos, dun, afvallend.
gall: No host plant alternation. Spermogonia amphigenous, conical. Aecia orange-yellow, mainly hypophyllous, scattered over the entire, somehwat galled, leaf; peridium white. No uredinia. Telia scattered over the plant, 0.5 mm, blackish brown, soon naked. Teliospores two-celled, broadly elliptic, wall smooth, uniformly thin; pedicel hyaline, thin, deciduous.
