gal: Aecia, uredinia en telia onderzijdig, ook op de stengel. Aecia bekervormig, op vergalde en verkleurde plekken. Uredinia kaneelbruin, telia donkerbruin. Urediniossporen met 2-3 onduidelijk equatoriale kiemporen. Teliosporen tweecellig, op een lange, afbrekende steel; kiempore van de onderste cel nabij de dwarswand.

gall: Aecia, uredinia and telia hypphyllous, also on the stem. Aecia cupulate, on galled and discoloured spots. Uredinia cinnamon brown, telia dark brown. Urediniospores with 2-3 inconspicuous germination pores. Teliospores two-celled, on a long deciduous pedicel; germination pore of the lower cel close to the septum.
