gal: Geen waardwisseling, alleen uredinia en telia, beide onderzijdig. Uredinia talrijk, tot 1 mm, bleekbruin. Telia zeer klein, donker grijsbruin. De normale tweecellige teliosporen zijn in de minderheid, ontbreken soms zelfs geheel. Hun plaats wordt ingenomen door amphisporen
: ééncellig, bruin, onregelmatig van vorm en wanddikte.
gall: No host plant alternation, only uredinia and telia, both hypophyllous. Uredinia numerous, light brown, up to 1 mm. Telia minute, dark greyish brown. The normal, two-celled teliospores are a minority, sometimes they are completely absent. Their place is taken by amphispores
