Puccinia perplexans
gal: uredinia geel-oraje, 0.5 mm, roestkleurig, beiderzijdig, op gele vlekken; paraphysen aanwezig, draavormig; urediniosporen met 4-6(8) poren. Telia 1 mm, onderzijdig, door de epidermis bedekt, glanzend zwart. Teliosporen tweecellig (soms eencellig), nauwelijks ingesnoerd, kegelvormig, naar de steel versmald; wand glad, dun alleen nabij de top iets verdikt; steel zeer kort, dik.
gall: uredinia 0.5 mm, rust-coloured, amphigenous, on yellow spots; paraphyses present, thread-like; urediniospores with 4-6(8) pores. Telia 1 mm, hypophyllous, covered by the epidermis, shining black. Teliospores two-celled (sometimes one-celled), hardly constricted, conical, tapering towards the thick and very short pedicel; wall smooth, only towards the apex somewhat thickened.
