gal: Geen waardwisseling. Spermogonia en aecia onderzijdig, talrijk; de aecia felgeel, bekervormig. Geen uredinia. Telia (zeldzaam)bovenzijdig, bruin; sporen tweecellig op heel korte, afvallende stelen.

gall: No hostplant alternation. Spermogonia and aecia hypophyllous, numerous; the aecia bright yellow, cupulate. No uredinia. Telia (rare) epiphyllous brown; spores two-celled, on quite sort, deciduous pedicels.
