gal: geen waardwisseling, alleen telia. Deze onderzijdig, ook op de nerven en bladstelen en daar tot 2 cm lange groepen bijeen, donkerbruin. Teliosporen tweecellig, eivormig, niet ongesnoerd; wand gelijkmatig dun, glad; steel dun, hyalien, afbrekend, tot 130 µm.
gall: no host plant alternation, only telia. Thry are dark brown, hypophyllous, but also on the veins and petioles, coalescing into groups of up to 2 cm long. Teliospores two-celled, oval, not constricted; wall uniformly thin, smooth; pedicel thin, hyaline, deciduous, up to 130 µm.
