gal: geen waardwisseling. Aecia verspreid over de gehele onderzijde van het blad, geel bekervormig; daartussen ook spermogonia. Uredinia in kleine kringen, bruin. Telia klein, zwartbruin. Tussen de teliosporen ook urediniosporen, met 2 poren boven de equator.Teliosporen tweecellig, zonder insoering, wand gelijkmatig dik, fijn-wrattig. Steel kleurloos, vaak scheef aangehecht.
gall: no host plant alternation.Aecia dispersed over the entire underside of leaf, yellow, cupulate, mixed with spermogonia. Uredinia in small circles, brown. Telia small, blackish brown. Between the teliospores also urediniospores with 2, equatorial pores. Teliospores two-celled, not constricted, wall uniformly thick, veruculose. Pedicel hyaline, often out of alignment with the spore.
