gal: Geen waardwisseling. Aecia onderzijdig op gelige bladvlekken, cylindrisch, geel, met witte ongeslagen rand. Urediinia onderzijdig, roestbruin, vroeg naakt; sporen met 3-4 poren. Telia onderzijdig, zwartbruin, vaak in kringen rondom de uredinia, lang door de epidermis bedekt; sporen twee-cellig, 14-21 x 22-40 µm, eivormig, glad; beide kiemmporen met een grote papil; steel fragiel.

gall: No host plant alternation. Aecia hypophyllous, on yellowish leaf spotes, cylindical, yellow, with white reciurved margin. Uredinia rust brown, hypophyllous, soon naked; spores with 3-4 pores. Telia hypophyllous, blackish brown, often in circles around the uredinia, long covered by the eidermis; spores 2-celled, 14-21 x 22-40 µm, ovoid, smooth; both germination pores capped by a conspicuouss papilla; pedicel fragile.
