gal: Geen waardwisseling; alle fasen onderzijdig. De aantasting is systemisch, de gehele plant is aangetast. Aeciosporen met veel zeer fijne wratjes, en daarenboven een veel minder gooy aantal grove, afvallende wratten. Uredinia kastanjebruin, sporen met 2 kiemporen. Telia donkerbruin. Teliosporen twee-cellig, bruin, glad, met verdikte top, op korte, tere, afbrekende sporen.
gall: No host plant alternation; all phases hypophyllous. The infestation is systemic, the entire plant is diseased. Aeciospores verruculose, moreover with a small number of coarse, deciduous warts. Uredinia chestnut brown, spores with 2 germination pores. Telia dark brown. Teliospores two-celled, smooth, brown, apex thickened, on short, flaccid, deciduous pedicels.
