gal: Geen waardwisseling, alleen zwartbruine telia, op vooral de onderzijde van misvormde bladeren en vergalde stegels. Teliosporen eencellig, wand net een fijne net-sculptuur; apicaal een hyaliene papil; steel kleurloos, afvallend.
gall: No host plant alternation, only blackish brown telia, mainly on the undeside of disfigured leaves anf galled stems. Teliopores one-celled; wall with a fine reticulate sculpture; apically a hyaline papilla; pedicel hyaline, deciduous.
