Uredinia kaneelkleurig, lang door de epidermis bedekt; sporen diameter 20-25 µnm, net 5-7 poren. Telia beiderzijdig, bijna zwart; sporen eencellig, 18-24 x 20-30 µm, verspreid wrattig; steel kort, afbrekend.
