Beschreven en afgebeeld door Ricchello (1928a) en de Meijere (1946a). De twee beschrijvingern sporen niet erg. De ene mandibel met 2, de ander met 1 tand (de Meijere - Ricchello beeldt twee paar niet-alternerende tanden af). Voorwaarts gerichte arm van het kopskelet kort en dik. Voorspiraculum met 11, achterspiraculum met 3 papillen. Richello beeldt 3 waaiervormige haren af (van het type als bij de Agromyza's op Urtica, maar de Meijere zegt hier niets over (hij had maar 1 larve tot zijn beschikking, en dze haren zijn lastig te zien). De achterspiracula opvallend klein. Achterlijfspunt in Richello's afbeelding vreemd lang uitgetrokken, bij de Meijere afgeknot.
Described and illustrated by Ricchello (1928a) and de Meijere (1946a). There is not much congruence among the two descriptions. The one mandible with 2, the other with 1 tooth (de Meijere - Ricchello's figure shows two pairs, not-alternating teeth). Frontal arm of cephalic skeleton short and thick. Front spiraculum with 11 papillae, rear spiraculum with 3 papillae. Ricchello's drawing of the rear spiraculum shows 3 fan-shaped setae, like are present in the Agromyza's that mine on Urtica, but de Meiejre does not mention anything alike (he had only one larva at his disposition, and these setae are not easily observed). Rear spiracula strikingly small. In Richello's drawing the rear end of the abdomen is unusually elongated and pointed, in de Mejere's it is stunted.
