Cystiphora sanguinea

mijn Onderzijdig cirkelrond blaasmijntje, ca 5 mm in diameter, vaak een flink aantal bijeen op een blad. Bovenzijde wrachtig, sterk rood verkleurd, ondoorzichtig. Aan de onderzijde is de mijn alleen door de epidermis afgesloten; de witte larve is duidelijk zichtbaar, evenals zijn voedsel: druppsels sap dat de mijn binnensijpelt. Verpopping in de grond.

mine Circular, lower-surface blotch, about 5 mm in diameter, often quite a number together on a leaf. Upper surface wart-like, strongly reddish discoloured, opaque. At the lower surface the mine is closed only by the epidermis. The white larva is easily visible, as is its food: drops of cell sap that oozes into the mine. Pupation in the soil.
