mijn Mijn als bij Heterarthrus cuneifrons: een grote, bovenzijdige (vaak bijna voldiepe) blaasmijn, zonder spoor van een begingang, die begint in het centrum van het blad. Volgroeide larve in een schijfvormige cocon in de mijn. Uiteindelijk valt de cocon uit de mijn, met medeneming van een rond schijfje bovenepidermis.

Full grown larval in a discoidal cocoon in the mine. In the end the cocoon drops out if the mine, taking a disk of upper epidermis with it.
