mijn Een vlakke blaas aan de bladrand. Het blad aan de rand niet opgerold; zelden meer dan één mijn in een blad. Mijnen vooral in boomkruinen. Frasskorrels eliptisch, ca 0.5 mm lang.

BENELUX

Niet bekend uit de Benelux-landen (Fauna Europaea, 2008). De afgebeelde mijn was verlaten, en de determinatie kon dus door kweken niet worden bevestigd. In elk geval uit Nederland nog geen imagines bekend (Ad Mol in litt, 2008).

Altenhofer (1980a,b,c) deed een omvangrijke studie naar op bomen minerende bladwespen. Naar aanleiding van dit onderzoek bestudeerde Liston (1993c) Altenhofer's materiaal van Parna, en ontdekte dat dit deels tot een nog onbekende soort behoorde, die beschreven werd als P. reseri. Nog weer later bleek reseri een synoniem te zijn van P. apicalis (Brischke) (Liston, Taeger & Blank, 2006a). Dit houdt in dat al het materiaal dat tot 1993 als tenella werd beschouwd moet worden overgedetermineerd.

Altenhofer (1980a,b,c) extensively dealt with the European sawflies mining on trees. This induced Liston (1993c) to study Altenhofer's Parna material. He discovered that part of it belonged to an undescribed species, which was described was P. reseri. Later reseri turned out to be a synonym of P. apicalis (Brischke) (Liston, Taeger & Blank, 2006a). The implication is that all material identified as tenella before 1993 is in need of revision.
