mijn Op Pistacia lentiscus zijn de mijnen niet te onderscheiden van die van Acalyptris minimella. Bij P. terebinthus met zijn grotere en dunnere bladeren bestaat de mijn uit een niet sterk kronkelende, zich geleidelijk verbredende gang, waar de frass vrijwel nergens de complete gangbreedte vult (van Nieukerken, 2007a).

On P. terebinthus with its larger and thinner leaves the mine consists of a not strongly contorted corridor that gradually widens, with frass that almost nowhere fills the entire width (van Nieukerken, 2007a).
