De lichaamskleur is geel, niet zalmkleurig, als bij veel andere soorten. De buikpoten zijn in verhouding tot andere Coleophora's goed ontwikkeld.
The ground colour is yellow, rather than the salmon of many other species. Also the abdominal prolegs are, comparad to other Coleophora's, relatively well developed.
