zak Tweekleppige samengestelde bladzak, ca 15 mm lang met een mondhoek van ca 30°. Afhankelijk van de waardplant is de zak min of meer wollig-viltig. De zak is lichtbruin, het achterste deel, dat stamt van voor de overwintering, is donkerbruin.

case Bivalved composite leaf case of c. 15 mm with a mouth angle of c. 30°. Depending on the hostplant the case is more or less woolly-felty. The case is light brown, the rear end, that stems from before the hibernation, is dark brown.
