zak Larve in een grote samengestelde bladzak van 10-15 mm lang, die bij de volgroeide larve bestaat uit drie achter elkaar geschakelde bladstukjes. Zak bleek bruinig, tweekleppig; mondhoek ca. 45°.

Jeugdzakken kunnen verward worden met de zakken van C. bilineella (Kasy, 1969a).
