zak Zijdelings samengedrukte spatelvormige bladzak van ca 12 mm. Achterzijde weinig versmald, recht afgesneden, tweekleppig. Mondhoek 30°. De larve maakt 2-3 zakken, die uit de bladrand gesneden worden. Hering (1936b) beschrijft dat de larven, nadat ze de zak op een blad hebben vastgesponnen, de zak geheel kunnen verlaten, en dan soms echte gangmijnen maken.

case Laterally compressed spatulate leaf case of c. 12 mm. Rear end hardly narrowed, squarely cut off, bivalved. Mouth angle 30°. The larva makes 2 or 3 cases, that are cut out of the leaf margin.Hering (1936b) describes that the larvae, once they have attached the case to a leaf, may entirely leave their case, and then sometimes make real galleries.
