zak Driekleppige, buisvormige zijden zak van 8-9.5 mm met een mondhoek van ca 30°. De zak is lichtbruin en heeft een aantal vage lengtelijnen. De mijntjes zijn aanvankelijk heel klein, maar later worden de blaadjes geheel uitgemijnd.

De zakken zijn niet te onderscheiden van die van C. thymi; de larven van beide soorten zijn niet beschreven.

case Trivalved tubular silken case of 8.9.5 mm with a mouth angle of c. 30°. The case is light brown and has a number of indistinct length lines. The mines are quite small at first, but later the leaves are completely mined out.

The cases cannot be distinguished from those of C. thymi; of neither species the larvae have been described.
