mijn Bovenzijdige bruine blaasmijn, aanvankelijk klein en rond. Deze wordt vergroot door gangachtige uitlopers in alle richtingen, die later samenvloeien. Meestal begint de mijn in de bladtop. Frass geconcentreerd in het centrum van de mijn. Pop meestal in de mijn, in een wittige cocon. De larve kan een uitgemijnd blad verlaten en elders opnieuw beginnen (van Nieukerken, 2006b).

Frass concentrated in the centre of the mine. Pupation mostly within the mine, in a whitish cocoon. The larva is capable of leaving a leaf that has been mined out, and restart elsewhere (van Nieukerken, 2006b).
