mine, lighted from behind
mijn Gangmijn in de vorm van losse spiraal; de zijden zijn onregelmatig uitgevreten, de mijn is voldiep. Frass in een brede centrale lijn. Aan het begin een opening, waardoor een deel van de frass wordt verwijderd. Het laatste deel van de mijn is een blaas, die meestal tegen de bladrand aan ligt. Hierna leeft de larve vrij tussen samengesponnen bladeren.

Frass in a broad central line; part of it is ejected through an opening at the beginning of the corridor. The final part of the mine is a blotch, generally adjacent to the leaf margin. Later the larva lives free among spun leaves.
