mijn Vrij kleine, onderzijdige vouwmijn, vaak onder een bladslip; wanneer de volgroeide mijn zich samentrekt wordt deze dan vaak onderen omgeslagen. De larva vreet ook aan het palissadeparenchym van het plafond van de mijn, waardoor de bladbovenzijde er beschadigd uitziet. Pop zwartbruin in een nauwsluitende dunwandige cocon die bevestigd is aan de bodem van de mijn; alle frass in een compacte prop in de tegeoverliggende hoek van de mijn.
mine Relatively small, lower surface tentiform mine. The mine lies often under a leaf segment, and when the mine develops and contracts the segment usually folds down over the mine. The larve also feeds upon the palissade parenchyma of the roof of the mine, causing the upper surface of the leaf to appear damaged. Pupa blackish brown in a tight, thin-walled cocoon that is attached to the floor of the mine; all frass is accumulated in the opposite corner of the mine.
