mijn Lange, zeer smalle gang, die soms meermalen door het blad loopt (eventueel de hoofdnerf kruist). De gang kan delen van het blad afsnoeren, die daardoor afsterven. De gang wordt vrijwel niet breder, todat hij plotseling overgaat in een onregelmatige lnggerekte blaas. Uit het einde van de blaas wordt een ovale uitsnede gemaakt van ongeveer 4 mm lang, waarin de larve zich op de grond laat vallen voor de verpopping. Mijn in de allerjongste bladeren.
mine Long, very narrow corridor that may wind several times through the leaf, freely crossing the midrib. The corridor often cuts off parts of the leaf, that die as a result. The corridor does not increase in width, untill it abruptly widens into an irregular elongate blotch. In the end of the blotch an oval excision is made, c. 4 mm long, in which the larva drops to the ground for pupation. Mines in the very youngest leaves.
