mijn De larven leven in spinselbuizen langs de takken en bladstelen. Vanuit de buis maken ze vlekmijnen in de bladeren, die soms bijna geheel worden uitgemijnd. Tijdens eetpauzen verblijven de larven in de spinselbuis. Verpopping in een witte cocon, die aan de plant is gehecht.
mine The larvae live in silken tubes along the branches and petioles. From the tube they make fleck mines in the leaves, that may be entirely mined out. During feeding pauses the larvae rest in the tube. Pupation in a white cocoon, attached to the plant.
