mijn Het ei bevindt zich meestal aan de bladbovenzijde en niet ver van de bladrand. De mijn is een matig brede gang, die vaak een zijnerf kruist, en bijna altijd loopt van nabij de bladrand in de richting van de hoofdnerf.. Het eerste deel is smal, met de frass in een smalle middenlijn. Daarna wordt de mijn breder, en ligt de frass in duidelijke boogjes; in het allerlaatste deel ligt de frass meer slordig, en uiteindelijk weer in een smalle middenlijn.
mine Oviposition generally at the upperside of the leaf, and not far from the leaf margin. The mine is a rather wide corridor, that often crosses a vein, and almost invariably runs from somewhere near the leaf margin in the direction of the midrib. Its first part is quite narrow, with a narrow central frass line. The next section is wider, and here the frass is distinctly coiled. In the final section the frass lies somewhat more irregular, and in a rather narrow central zone.
