mijn Vrij korte, voldiepe, geleidelijk breder wordende gang, and het eind nog snel iets meer verbreed tot langgerekt blaasje. Frass in een centrale lijn, ca 1/3 van de gangbreedte. Verpopping buiten de mijn.

mine Rather short, full dpeth, gradually widening corridor, the last section suddenly widenened still a bit more into an elongated blotch. Frass in a central line, about 1/3 of the width of the corridor. Pupation outside the mine.

Hering (1957a) noemt ook Cydonia als waardplant; dat wordt door latere auteurs niet overgenomen.

Johansson ea (1990a) schrijven dat geen waarnemingen bekend zijn van meidoorn; daarom verdient ook de vermelding van Maček (1999a) van Crataegus laevigata nadere bevestiging.

Hering (1957a) includes Cydonia as a hostplant; this is not taken over by later autors.

To Johansson ao (1990a) no records were known from Hawthorn; therefore also the observation by Maček (1999a) of Crataegus laevigata as a host needs verification.
