Adbomen 10 heeft slechts één paar setae; dit onderscheidt nylandriella van alle andere Stigmella's op Sorbus behalve St. oxyacanthella; bij die laatste soort is deze seta echter veel korter (Gustafsson & van Nieukerken, 1990a).
Adbomen 10 bears only one pear of setae; this separates nylandriella from all other Stigmella's on Sorbus except St. oxyacanthella; in the latter species this seta is much shorter (Gustafsson & van Nieukerken, 1990a).
